
Executive Committee
1. Execute resolutions passed by the board of directors.
2. Handle daily responsibilities.
Primary Health Care Committee
1. Assist members in solving and handling medical and related
problems.
2. Appoint a representative to handle matters related to the National Health
Insurance Primary Global Budget Executive Committee and the Taipei Regional
Committees under the Taiwan Medical Association.
3. Assist members in the implementation of the national health policy.
Hospital Medical Committee
1. Assist hospital representatives in handling medical and related
problems.
2. Appoint a representative to handle matters related to hospitals' basic
coverage system.
3. Assist hospitals in the implementation of the national policy.
Medical Disputes Committee
Assist members in handling medical disputes and legal problems.
Medical Ethics & Discipline Committee
Collect articles and publications on subjects related to medical
ethics, enhance medical morals and change the public's and media's impression
of the medical field.
Health Policy & Legislation Committee
1. Discuss revisions of the physicians' law and the medical care law
and of regulations related to the National Health Insurance.
2. Discuss measures related to the inclusion of medical personnel into the
Labor Standards Law.
3. Discuss the appropriateness of current medical laws and regulations and
administrative decrees and make comments or suggestions.
4. Revise relevant laws and regulations in order to promote medical alliances
and referral systems.
5. Promote research plan related to National Health Insurance reforms.
6. Enhence better communication and negotiation with the public legislators.
Editorial Committee
1. Edit the Bulletin of Taipei Medical Association.
2. Publish official medical administration documents, meetings minutes,
National Health Insurance information, activity reports, personal interviews,
etc.
3. Provide a service column where members may publish relevant matters free of
charge.
4. Call for members to submit articles, provide a channel for members to voice
their aspirations and acquire knowledge.
5. Provide space for the publication of a special column by the lady's division
of the Taipei Medical Association.
Academic Committee
1. Organize reeducational programs.
2. Organize scientific lectures in conjunction with relevant groups.
3. Assist members in attending academic and linguistic classes.
Public Relations Committee
1. Attend general meetings, seminars and forums of relevant
authorities in order to enhance public relations.
2. Arrange Physicians Day celebration activities.
3. Organize banquets on special occasions.
4. Visit and receive delegations from medical associations around the world in
order to promote medical exchange and foreign relations.
5. Organize press conferences periodically.
Financial Committee
1. Compile and revise financial reports (with the exception of member welfare
funds).
2. Study and improve the Association's financial management.
3. Compile the Association's annual budget.
4. Study matters related to member welfare.
Welfare and Recreation Committee
1. Organize various leisure activities for the members.
2. Organize social activities, such as tours and traveling, mountain hiking,
etc.
Social Service Committee
1. Support various Taipei relief hospitals, medical service teams and medical
practices related to social services.
2. Organize various activities related to public health in conjunction with
relevant authorities and organizations. 3. Cooperate with news media to promote
public health knowledge.
Member Service Committee
1. Organize periodic regional seminars (1 to 3 times a year depending on
situation); if required, supervising authorities are invited to attend.
2. Evaluate seniority of physicians with a service record of 30 to 60 years,
commend senior physicians that meet the requirements, and praise them at the
Physicians Day celebration of that year.
3. Present cards, flowers or gifts and/or dispatch representatives to show
regard or pay respect in case of weddings, funerals, etc. of members.
4. Present flowers and/or dispatch representatives to show concern in case of
hospitalization of members due to injury or sickness; present gift or floral
creations in case of opening of clinics by members.
5. Send birthday cards to members and present money certificate of NTD500 for
birthdays of members older than 65 and with a continuous service record of more
than 15 years.
6. Periodically evaluate members' response and countermeasures and solutions.
Member Welfare Fund Management Committee
1. Collect, manage and verify the Association's welfare and pension funds.
2. Evaluate, introduce and monitor member benefits and draft, evaluate and
execute member pension schemes.
3. Monitor the distribution of welfare funds and compile budget and account
reports.
Member Mutual Fund Management Committee
1. Collect, manage and verify committee funds.
2. Evaluate, introduce and monitor committee plans and draft, evaluate and
execute modes for member cooperation.
3. Application and examination of committee mutual funds.
